As a co-partner of RAM Law, Jay believes in providing each client with individualized attention and working closely to explain developments throughout their case. He devotes himself completely to his clients and promises prompt responses to any questions they may have.
Jay concentrates his practice on two areas: representing individuals who have been injured as a result of the negligence of others; representing victims of sexual abuse in civil claims against the culpable defendants and entities. Prior to forming RAM Law, Jay’s practice centered on representing defendants who have been sued in lawsuits through their respective insurance companies. His experience in these areas provides a unique insight and strategy for securing the best settlement and trial results for his clients today.
Jay has extensive trial experience, having tried dozens of jury trials to conclusion in nearly all of the 21 counties throughout New Jersey. He is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to representing adults and victims who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. He represents dozens of survivors in lawsuits throughout New Jersey against Catholic Dioceses, public school districts, New Jersey Child Protection and Permanency and various private entities as well as representing dozens of survivors in the Boy Scouts of American Bankruptcy litigation. He serves as a select member of the victims’ attorneys liaison committee which helps manages hundreds of consolidated clergy cases throughout the state. He is among the few attorneys in New Jersey who have won a number of jury trial verdicts on behalf of sexual abuse victims since New Jersey passed landmark legislation in 2019 allowing victims additional time to bring child sex abuse lawsuits.
