A RAM Law client was involved in two separate motor vehicle accidents 6 weeks apart while in the course of his employment as a security guard. Following the accidents, he underwent a significant course of medical treatment including four spinal surgeries. Unfortunately, the client passed away days after the fourth surgery. A legal issue existed as to whether his cause of death was related to complications from the last surgery. The case was litigated for over three years and ultimately settled at a non-binding mediation on behalf of the client’s estate.
