RAM Law Partner Jay Mascolo Settles Fall Down Case for $290,000

Jay Mascolo settled a fall down case for $290,000 on the eve of trial.  The RAM Law client fell down an exterior flight of stairs in a two family home where she was a tenant and sustained a serious neck injury.  The client had been a tenant in the home for a couple years.  The exterior set of stairs leading from her second floor apartment were defective and had a loose step and rail.  Following the accident, the client underwent a course of significant medical treatment which ultimately led to a cervical fusion surgery to repair a herniated disc.  The case was venued in Morris County and settled one week prior to the start of a trial.
