A RAM Law client was injured when she tripped and fell on an unsecured microphone cord at a convention. The RAM Law client was the master of ceremonies at a medical convention at an Atlantic City casino hotel. As she walked through the conference room prior to the event, she tripped and fell on the microphone cord, which was not covered. As a result of the fall, she suffered a fractured hip necessitating surgery. Approximately one month following the surgery she suffered a stroke resulting in neurological problems.
