About Craig M. Aronow, Esq.
Craig M. Aronow is a personal injury lawyer dedicated to representing individuals injured in truck crashes. Over the course of 29 years in practice, Craig has witnessed the devastating aftermath of these incidents. He welcomes the challenge of litigating against trucking companies and their insurance carriers when they attempt to avoid responsibility.
For the first 10 years of his legal career, Craig defended the insurance industry against injury claims. Time and again, he observed insurance companies taking advantage of less knowledgeable, ill-prepared, and under-capitalized lawyers. While victories for the insurance companies provided a brief sense of accomplishment, they were often followed by a feeling of injustice. Eventually, Craig gained the courage to leave his role as a defender of the industry, changed sides, and co-founded RAM Law. Drawing on his defense experience to advocate for injured victims has provided a deeply fulfilling sense of purpose. The shift, Craig explains, is akin to having a former IRS agent represent someone during a tax audit—a strategic advantage built on insider knowledge.
Over the years, Craig has increasingly focused on representing truck crash victims. His fascination with the trucking industry and its regulations grew as he immersed himself in the field. By 2015, he committed fully to focusing on truck crash cases, pursuing every opportunity for education, training, and experience. To differentiate himself from most attorneys, Craig obtained a Class A CDL permit in 2018, which is required to operate tractor-trailers. He then enrolled in truck driving school to gain hands-on, behind-the-wheel experience. In 2019, Craig earned Board Certification in Truck Accident Law, becoming one of the first two attorneys in New Jersey and among the first 50 nationwide to achieve this specialized credential.
Every truck crash case, Craig notes, is unique and presents its own challenges. He regularly lectures to attorneys throughout New Jersey, sharing the experience he has developed to help level the playing field against unsafe trucking companies and their insurance carriers. By equipping fellow lawyers with these tools, Craig helps promote safer roads and more responsible industry practices. Justice, he believes, is served when the legal system operates effectively and holds irresponsible companies accountable.
Whether investigating a new truck crash case or strategizing with a colleague, Craig is grateful for every opportunity to further the journey he began years ago. Playing a role in making roads safer for families and friends provides a far more meaningful sense of accomplishment than his earlier career as a defender of the insurance industry.
