RAM Partner, Craig Aronow, Obtains $500,000 for Client Injured at Metropark Station

A RAM Law client was injured when a snow removal contractor failed to remove ice from Metropark’s overflow parking lot.  Lot operator called contractor and advised that lot needed to be cleared just before rush hour, not 5 or 6 hours earlier.  Contractor refused to come and treat ice in the lot.  Client slipped on black ice, aggravating a pre-existing low back condition which ultimately, required surgery.  The case settled just before trial, with the defense increasing its settlement offer from approx.. $225,000 to $500,000.
