This was a medical malpractice case that involved an undiagnosed bowel obstruction resulting in the loss of 90% of the bowel and the client suffering the loss of proper bowel function and constant loss of control with a lifetime of medication. The case was against multiple providers, including the radiologist, internist, hospitalist, ER doctor, and hospital. The trial took four months, and the last defendant settled while the case was going to the jury.
