“This is an honor of a lifetime” Goldstein said.  “I joined ALA in 2013, knowing very little about the legal management profession.  Now, over a decade later, I use the knowledge, resources and relationships ALA has afforded me on a daily basis to help my firm and its people be the best they can be.  I am so excited to guide and motivate other leaders in the business of law to do the same for their law firms and legal organizations.”

Goldstein, a currently seated member of the ALA’s Board of Directors, will assume the President-Elect role in May 2025 before assuming the President and Immediate Past President roles in the spring of 2026 and spring of 2027 respectively.  Previously, she served the international level as Chair of the Membership Development Committee, as well as on the Certification Committee and the 2021 Annual Conference & Expo Planning Committee.  Goldstein also served on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Chapter of ALA for eight years, including one year as President.

“RAM Law is proud of Elyssa’s selection to lead the ALA,” said Craig Aronow, Co-Founding Partner at RAM Law. “We know that she has been working hard on behalf of the organization, feels strongly about helping its members and wants to help the ALA plan for a strong future.  We are certain that Elyssa’s leadership will help the ALA continue to grow and thrive.”

ALA is the premier professional association connecting leaders and managers within the legal industry.  It creates excellence, drives innovation and empowers its ~9,400 members by providing them with diverse educational experiences, engaged peer communities, strategic solutions, dynamic resources and trusted networks.  For more information, please visit alanet.org.
