$8,401,500 Jury Verdict for Auto Accident Injuries

Partner Ed Rebenack recently litigated a case against NJM, the RAM Law client’s own insurance company. The RAM Law client suffered neck and back injuries in two separate car accidents about 1 ½ years apart. The other drivers did not have sufficient insurance coverage so NJM was responsible for the RAM Law client’s injuries based on her underinsured motorist coverage. NJM refused to meet the settlement demand and thus, a Middlesex County jury decided the dispute. The jury awarded $8,401,500, which the court will reduce due to insurance coverage limits.
