$1,000,000 Settlement for Commercial Work Truck Accident in Jersey City

RAM Law Partner Tyler Hall obtained $1,000,000 for a client injured by a commercial work truck. The client was riding in an Uber when the vehicle was rear-ended by the defendant’s work truck. The client suffered from preexisting scoliosis and underwent surgeries to correct the scoliosis in the early 1990s. As a result of the crash, Plaintiff suffered new injuries to her spine and an aggravation of the preexisting scoliosis. The client’s injuries required two spine surgeries. The client also incurred over $400,000 in medical bills for the treatment of her spinal injuries. Tyler Hall prepared the case for trial, took the testimony of key medical witnesses. The case ultimately settled for the $1 million policy limits before starting trial.
