$1.35 Million Verdict Obtained

RAM Law’s Craig Aronow obtained a $1.35 million verdict in favor of a client that was injured at the Extended Stay Hotel in Piscataway, New Jersey. Early in the morning of January 10, 2010, freezing rain began and Extended Stay took no action for at least two hours to protect its guests. Another guest slipped and fell and while assisting that guest, RAM Law’s client slipped and fell aggravating a prior asymptomatic degenerative low back condition. The client suffered severe aggravation of preexisting degenerative disc disease and scoliosis. This resulted in a seven level thoraculolumbar fusion of her spine. After 1 hour and 25 minutes of deliberation, the jury returned its verdict find 100% liability on the part of Extended Stay.
