Rebenack Settles Back Surgery Litigation For $250,000

The RAM Law client, a 48 year old man was injured in an automobile accident that occurred on May 4, 2007. He was operating a vehicle struck in the rear by another vehicle while waiting at a red traffic light. The RAM Law client was taken to the emergency room and ultimately underwent a course of conservative treatment for neck and back pain. MRIs of the lower back revealed lumbar herniated discs at the L3-4 and L5-S1 levels. The client underwent a course of pain management treatment consisting of 2 epidural injections, 3 nerve block injections and a lumbar discography. After the pain management treatment failed to alleviate the low back pain, the gentleman ultimately underwent a lumbar fusion surgery at the L3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1 levels. The suit settled for $250,000 while in pre-trial discovery.
