Ed Rebenack Obtains $1.125 Million for Truck Crash Litigation

RAM Law’s Ed Rebenack settles truck crash litigation for $1.125 million. The crash occurred when a tri-axle dump truck rear-ended the RAM Law client as they approached a yellow traffic light on Route 1 in New Jersey. The truck driver accused the client of cutting in front of the truck and then slamming on the brakes for a yellow light. The client maintained they never changed lanes before stopping for the light. The police officer issued a careless driving ticket to the client which was eventually dismissed. Rebenack, Aronow & Mascolo’s client ultimately required neck surgery about 2 ½ years after the crash. The insurance carrier for the truck company agreed to pay $1.125 million to settle the litigation as the trial date approached.
