$95,000 Settlement For Nursing Home Negligence Claim

RAM Law’s Tyler Hall recently obtained a $95,000 settlement for nursing home negligence claim. The RAM Law client was a resident at a nursing home for assistance with his medical conditions. During a night shift, the client suffered from confusion which led him to wander the halls of the facility. Instead of offering medical evaluation and assistance, the nursing home staff escorted the client back to his room where he remained in a state of confusion for the night. The following morning, family members found the client with various injuries that occurred during the course of the night. The nursing home’s insurance carrier agreed to settle the incident for $95,000 without the need for formal litigation.
