$460,000 Obtained for Car Accident Victim

Rebenack settles NJ car accident litigation for $460,000. The RAM Law client was traveling on Rt. 34 in Holmdel, NJ. At the same time, the defendant was driving home from his first law school exam, fell asleep at the wheel and struck the client head-on. The client suffered a displaced fracture of her thigh requiring surgery and a non-displaced fracture of a bone in her foot. The fracture resulted in a difference in leg length which then caused a limp. The injuries also had an effect on the client’s ability to work full time. Two weeks before trial was scheduled to start, NJM agreed to pay $460,000 to avoid defending RAM Law’s claims before a jury.
