$100,000 Pedestrian Crossing Settlement

Edward Rebenack settled a case towards the end of March, 2016, for $100,000. The client was a pedestrian crossing an intersection in Newark, NJ, within the crosswalk. Despite the client’s right of way, a vehicle entered an intersection and struck the client. The injuries included a left leg fracture that was surgically repaired.

Despite the severity of the injuries, the vehicle carried insurance with a $100,000 limit. The insurance carrier offered the policy limit before the need to file litigation.
